A highlight every year: the Tour de France's arrival in the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. The cyclists have 21 stages and a total distance of around 3,500 km behind them. At the traditional finish line, we were involved as the equipment providers on the course. In order to make the cycling event special for the invited guests, VIP and sponsor lounges were created in temporary event locations in separate areas. The interior spaces, which were separated by walls, were equipped with atmospheric furniture. Kipu stools and Moduplus lounge chairs exuded as much blissful comfort as the combinations of Bornholm tables and Monza stools or Ibiza tables that were combined with DAWs or About a Chair chairs. Cycling fans could watch the finish at close quarters from the adjacent outdoor terraces, which were entirely furnished in white with Brio tables, Helios chairs and sun umbrellas.

Tour de France 2018
What a regal finishing sprint! The motivating cheers of innumerable spectators who lined the Paris streets. At an enormous speed, the cyclists on the Champs-Élysées broke through the finish line – past the VIP tents that we set up for the celebratory reception of the cyclists on the last day of the Tour de France.
