Today the five-star hotel boasts 230 luxurious rooms, 20 atmospheric suites and four stylish penthouses, and is a unique venue for international events of all kinds. On the occasion of the CFO DAY 2016 conference, with more than 500 Chief Financial Officers of Dutch companies in attendance, Party Rent Arnhem was given the opportunity to supply the traditional luxury hotel with event furniture. In keeping with the generously-proportioned rooms, the team arranged modern classics, such as the DSW Eames Plastic Chair, and contemporary designer furniture, such as the Flow Stool from MDF Italia, in congenial groups. This furniture arrangement fostered relaxed dialogue and open communication while making it easy to move freely.

CFO DAY 2016 in Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin
In 1880 the people of Noordwijk still lived from fishing. However, the mayor of the time, Mr Pické, was already of the view that Noordwijk had more to offer than merely fish. A seaside resort, he imagined, would offer better prospects. In 1883, Pické laid the foundation stone for the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin at the highest point of the dunes. The opening took place in 1885.
