They wanted to hold a reception in the garden at the historic moated castle, regardless of weather. White pagoda tents with transparent sides made their dream a reality, even in the event of cold or wet weather typical for this time of year. The wedding ceremony took place in the fabulous knights’ hall. The dinner – organised, incidentally, by Event Catering Nelson Müller – was served in the castle’s brightly lit orangery. 130 guests were seated at long tables draped in simple, white slip covers, with bronze-coloured cutlery that served as distinctive eye-catchers. The contemporary Scandinavian lounge layout was a perfect fit for the cosy fireside lounge and provided a place for quiet conversation apart from the wedding party.
