The Convention Office ‘visitBerlin’ has maintained its event format aimed at international meeting professionals in Berlin for the past eight years. Around 130 trade visitors from 29 countries once again gathered at the venue during the first weekend in July 2015. The concept of the Meeting Place is structured so that the diversity and uniqueness of Berlin is represented in the field of meeting, convention and incentives - both classic and newcomer locations present their venues while mingling with the professional audience.

The get-together is also the general common thread that runs through the event weekend. Even the centrepiece of this year, the "Meet Professionals Day", focussed on face-to-face communication. The participants had the opportunity to let off steam creatively at interactive workshops run by partners of visitBerlin. As a network member, Party Rent also made a "Berlin Backstage" presentation to an international audience during the networking evening. At the new location in Pankow, the meeting professionals experienced event services live, as the celebrations took place in the materials warehouse.

According to feedback from visitors and suppliers, the visitBerlin event was received very positively. The number and variety of international guests and the customised structuring of the weekend in particular made the event one of the most successful in the history of Meeting Place Berlin.
