The new, versatile showroom offers the opportunity to bring event concepts to life before the actual event on a floor space of 500 m². In addition, there is a show kitchen and a 250 m² terrace complete with a panoramic view of the surrounding Alps. Flexibility is a key feature of the new site: Customers have the option of collecting and returning their rental items themselves 24 hours a day.
It was possible to take the entire Party Rent Group's experience into account on all matters of logistics in order to even further improve the workflows in logistics and administration. The 3,800 m² warehouse with 13.50 metre-high high-rack storage offers state-of-the-art storage and cleaning technology. The appropriate stackers and forklift trucks offer state-of-the-art intralogistics. Moreover, a new workshop and a carpentry workshop for maintaining and repairing the rental items are available.
Rapid growth in the past few years meant Party Rent Munich had already outgrown its old site in Eching, which had only been founded in 2013 by managing directors Tobias Viße and Ben Cudok. “The past five years have gone really very well. The logistics link was already then an important factor. We have taken another major step forwards in this regard. The Munich Trade Fair Centre, the city centre and the region surrounding Munich can be quickly reached. In addition, many employees have a significantly shorter journey to work due to the good transport links,” explains Ben Cudok.
The architectural practice JAROSCH ARCHITEKTUR was responsible for the architecture of the new building. The emphasis was primarily on a homogeneous, compact and thus timeless look. Inside, this timelessness is seamlessly continued through linear shapes, materials and colours; all the work areas are flooded with light and provide the ideal conditions for the Munich team. The team also has a 135 m² lounge area and a 120 m² eating area available to them. The office area juts out over the approach and the gates to the building. The building is heated with a combined heat and power station, meaning that the energy requirements for the cleaning and storage technology can be almost completely covered.
The event equipment provider wants to continue to grow at the new site over the next few years. The building has been designed so that a further extension, which is already planned for 2020, will be possible without any difficulties. Thus, the conditions for the years ahead could hardly be better.
